This doesn't affect Bill (ie an attempt at accurate navigation) - will the roadbook be in Kilometers, Miles or both?

Come to think of it won't affect Teamtaff either!

May just adopt an alternative system to keep you on your toes -

How about Roman Miles? They consisted of 1000 double paces, or 5000 Roman feet, or 1480 metre, or 1619 yards. Distances on Roman roads were measured by odometers attached to carriage axles, as described in Vitruvius, and marked on mile stones.

You up for the challenge?

Or how about plain old dms... degrees, minutes, seconds.

You mean we could go by how many degrees folk list to starboard as the wine takes affect at the camping, and how long it takes in minutes and seconds for them to fall over! Not sure about dm's though. What are they - Doctor Martins? Laughing

Last year the units were "Perhaps Miles, Perhaps KM", weren't they, Tom?

I seem to remember the miles were mostly correct, but the KM were sometimes a bit .... odd Laughing
